Bow Wow is fighting back.
After receiving criticism for performing at a packed club in Houston during the coronavirus pandemic (as we reported here), he has now taken to social media to respond to those who spoke out against him.
His words below…
In a series of since deleted tweets, he said:
“I just woke up… aww god. Here we go.”
“Man i been hosting parties all last year. I wore my mask in the club. I cant host with that thing on. I promise my mask I wore in the club up until i got on the mic. That simple. Keep sanitizer on me at all times.”
“IT WASNT MY PARTY. But of course ima get the blame.”
He did go on to acknowledge the different regulations from state to state, saying:
“Man texas is open. Atl is open. I cant help i live in a city where we been open since last spring.”

Homeboy anytime you’re seen anywhere in public without a mask, regardless of the circumstances and what you’re doing, you’ll be criticized! We’re going through a pandemic with cases still on the rise. Do better and quit playing the victim!!!
This is such a bîtch baby, little boy, response. Your presence and performance in that C****-infested club has consequences regardless of you opening the door, turning on the lights, and inviting them in or not. Grow the f**** up. I am so tired of black celebrity men not being held accountable for their actions and the black community sheltering and effortlessly providing them forgiveness before accountability. Yes, everyone who went to the club is an adult, but when black people are the highest rate of C**** cases and deaths in the United States, you are part of the problem when you continue to entertain ignorance and make the excuse that your state government allows these places to be open. The events held at the Capitol should show you that your government does not give a f**** about you.
